High Frequency Welding of Pressure Sensors  – Katana as a Manufacturing Assistant
Keller Druckmesstechnik Inc. in Winterthur, Switzerland employs Katana for feeding pressure sensors in a high-frequency welding station. Eight different sensor types are being fed into the welding station and set into a grid after the welding process. These operations required  monotonous manual labour, with according risks due to fatigue, before they were being automated with Katana. Now, these processes are being executed continually, reliably and in a constant high quality.

For these processes, there are already three Katanas in operation. They operate in direct vicinity of humans.
